On the same day, Ms. Phan Huong Giang - Head of the Executive Board of the Phan Trong Binh People's Armed Forces Hero Social Work Fund (referred to as the Fund) - sent a document requesting "approval" to stop organizing the program "Aspirational Sea Journey" on the evening of May 25; at the same time, stop organizing the reception on the evening of May 25.

The reason given in the Fund's official dispatch is that the sponsors cannot continue to accompany the Fund as agreed and the time is limited. Therefore, the Fund cannot fully complete the contents as planned, in accordance with the goals approved by the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Previously, at the press conference about the above event on May 10, the organizer of the above event took place from May 23 to 26. The purpose of the event is to "preserve the values of coastal cultural heritage", "stimulate tourism ", "raise awareness of the role, strategic position, and potential of Vietnam's sea and islands"...
To have space for the event, the authorities have blocked part of Quang Trung Street through Bai Truoc in recent days. Before the suspension, some side activities of the event took place such as yoga performances and a food fair.
