Man Utd's homepage announced that center-back Victor Lindelof could not play due to injury. Previously, the Swedish player left the field early in the match against Chelsea in the middle of last week. He could not attend recent Man Utd training sessions.
Lindelof has been a good partner for Harry Maguire in the Man Utd defence recently. With the Swedish star out of action, coach Ten Hag could use Raphael Varane. The Frenchman has not been used much in recent times due to disagreements with coach Ten Hag.
In addition to Lindelof, Man Utd also cannot have the service of striker Marcus Rashford. The 26-year-old striker missed yesterday's training session due to illness.
