The cherry blossom forest in Langbiang mountain area (Mong Dao Nguyen - Lac Duong town, Lac Duong district, Lam Dong) is in its most beautiful season.
Mong Dao Nguyen is about 5km from Lac Duong town center and 15km from Da Lat city center. To get here, visitors have to cross more than 2km of winding forest road, jagged rocks and steep slopes.
Mong Dao Nguyen is separate from the hustle and bustle of the city, attracting tourists with the chirping of birds, the murmuring of streams, wooden houses on the hills and especially the cherry blossom trees blooming bright pink in the area. For that reason, many people come here to enjoy.
The cherry blossoms here usually shed their leaves from early October, start blooming around New Year’s Day and are at their most beautiful near the traditional New Year. After 2-3 weeks, the flowers fade and the tree enters a new growth phase.
The dreamy pink color of cherry blossom petals makes anyone feel excited when they see them.
Cherry blossoms have grown in large populations at the foot of Langbiang Mountain since the 1990s. There are large tree trunks, tens of centimeters in diameter.
Mr. Lai The Anh, a photography enthusiast in Lam Dong, said that he first came to Mong Dao Nguyen many years ago. Since then, he has come here every year to capture this magical scene.

Not only in Langbiang mountain forest, many other roads in Lam Dong are also dyed pink by cherry blossoms.
According to a representative of Bidoup - Nui Ba National Park, the cherry blossom population is located in a forest area under the management of the national park. The unit has coordinated with local people and authorities to preserve and protect this population.
