Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 cancels bikini performance
On July 27, the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee officially announced the new schedule for the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 final round, attracting the attention of the beauty-loving community. According to the representative of the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee, the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest 8 fashion show and the National Costume show will take place consecutively on July 29 and July 30. The press conference to announce the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 crown will be held on August 2 and the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 final is scheduled to take place on August 3 in Phan Thiet.

Referring to the decision not to organize the bikini competition before the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 final as originally planned to be held on July 22, general director Hoang Nhat Nam, a member of the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee, said: “The swimsuit competition is a typical part of the Miss Grand International (Miss Grand International) contest in general and Miss Grand Vietnam in particular. However, for some reasons, the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee decided to remove the separate show for this competition.
As long-time program organizers in the field of performance organization, especially in culture and arts, we think we need to be responsible and conscious in our organizational decisions, and make adjustments to best suit our needs."
Miss Grand Vietnam's Organizing Committee also admitted that the two consecutive shows of Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest 8 and National Costume in the near future will also cause great pressure for both the contestants and the Organizing Committee. "That is extremely great pressure in terms of time and health. When everything is put in continuously, the production team, all partners, and contestants must definitely work at a higher capacity. However, spirit is still the most important thing, we have always tried to encourage each other to complete the programs and plans that have been set out in advance. Besides, when there are difficulties, it is also an opportunity for us to test the endurance, patience, passion and sense of responsibility of each person", General Director Hoang Nhat Nam shared with Dan Viet.

The decision to cancel the bikini performance before the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 final was also supported by the contestants. Beauty Bui Ly Thien Huong - Top 10 Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 returned to participate in the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 contest, saying that she had prepared many costumes for each appearance in the shows, and had also practiced for the performances, including the bikini performance. The beauty from An Giang said that she supported the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee for not organizing the hot performance at this inappropriate time.
The Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee also confirmed that although there is no separate competition, the Best in Swimsuit award will still be given to the girl with the most impressive swimsuit performance in the final night of Miss Grand Vietnam 2024.

Previously, beauty Nguyen Thi Thu Hang was the winner of the Best in Swimsuit award in the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 contest. The beauty from Thai Binh was also entered directly into the Top 20 of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 thanks to winning this award. After that, Thu Hang continued to be named in the final Top 10.

The final results of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 with the highest position belonging to the beauty Le Hoang Phuong crowned. The titles of 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up, 3rd Runner-up, 4th Runner-up were respectively named: Bui Khanh Linh, Truong Qui Minh Nhan, Le Thi Hong Hanh, Dang Hoang Tam Nhu.
