This is the first time the Vietnamese Cultural Festival has been held in Moscow and is organized by the Moscow government in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia.

Moscow Deputy Mayor Natalya Sergunina said the festival was held to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

At the festival, city residents and visitors will enjoy water puppet shows, Vietnamese dishes and participate in creative cooking classes.

There will also be an art program introducing performances by artists from both countries and the audience will enjoy the sounds of traditional Vietnamese musical instruments.

In cooking classes, foreign chefs will show you how to make green rice cakes and beef pho, traditional Vietnamese dishes that have been highly appreciated around the world .

In addition, participants will also be able to make their own to he, a toy made from rice flour, and learn about Dong Ho paintings, traditional dances, and Vietnamese lacquer art.

Manezhnaya Square is located next to Red Square, one of the traditional venues for city festivals and also a famous tourist destination for visitors to Russia.

Festivals here always attract a large number of visitors, sometimes up to hundreds of thousands of people./.
