Today (May 17), information from the Inspection Committee of Kbang District Party Committee said that it had just expelled from the Party Mr. Dinh A Hyót, a party member currently active in Kon Kring village Party Cell (Kon Pne commune).
Mr. Dinh A Hyót is said to be the leader in cutting down two precious trees in the forest area managed and protected by the Kon Ka Kinh National Park Management Board.
According to the conclusion of the Kbang District Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Mr. Dinh A Hyót violated the rules that Party members are not allowed to do; caused very serious consequences; created bad public opinion in the Party cell; damaged the reputation of himself and the Party cell... to the point of having to be disciplined and expelled from the Party.
Previously, the authorities discovered 2 trees in plot 6, Sub-zone 76, belonging to the special-use forest managed and protected by the Kon Ka Kinh National Park Management Board, were cut down. Measurements at the scene showed 15,792m3 of round wood.
According to initial investigation results, from October 5 to 7, 2022, Dinh A Hyót led, initiated, and then, together with a number of others, illegally cut down the two above-mentioned trees.
Currently, Kbang District Police have prosecuted the accused and proposed to prosecute the subjects who cut down the two trees for the act of "Violating regulations on forest exploitation, protection and forest product management".
