On the evening of April 29, thousands of people from all over flocked to the center of Ho Chi Minh City to express their patriotism and wait for the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
Like previous rehearsals, the rehearsal activities for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification have attracted the attention of many people not only in Ho Chi Minh City but also from all over the country.
According to the HTV reporter team, the atmosphere of anticipation and excitement of the people before the moment of the parade and march is gradually heating up by the minute. Many people have been present in the city center since half a day ago, all sharing the same pride towards the important historical day of the nation.
Many people did not hesitate to spread out tarps and choose seats along the central streets of the city to keep the most favorable observation position, ready to fully watch this meaningful historical celebration.
In the Le Duan Street area, Van Anh - a resident from Hanoi - shared that to join in the joyful atmosphere of the country's great festival, the whole family moved to Ho Chi Minh City to fully enjoy every moment of the day "North and South are one family, the country is united". Van Anh also emphasized the sacred meaning of the Great Spring Victory in 1975, with the peak being the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign - the event that brought independence, unity and happiness to the entire nation.
The national parade and march to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day will officially take place at 6:30 a.m. on April 30, 2025.
