A Korean association wants to build Asia's largest entertainment complex in Ha Long.

(Dan Tri) - The Korean Greyhound Association proposed to invest in and build an international sports and entertainment complex in Ha Long with a scale of about 300-350 hectares, with a total investment of about 1-2 billion USD.
Quang Ninh province's electronic information portal reported on July 18 that Mr. Cao Tuong Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - had a courtesy reception for Mr. Park Gi-Beom, Chairman of the Korean Greyhound Association (KGA) to explore investment opportunities in the province. The KGA Association is an organization with a lot of experience in the field of investment, development, and provision of services and unique types of sports and tourism in Korea and some countries around the world . At the meeting, Mr. Park Gi-Beom, Chairman of the KGA Association, shared some research ideas and investment proposals in the province with a total investment capital of about 1-2 billion USD. Specifically, the representative of this association proposed to invest in and build the Ha Long international sports and entertainment complex with a scale of about 300-350 hectares in the northern area of Ha Long City. This complex includes amusement parks, entertainment areas, tourist areas, commercial services, competition venues, training facilities and accompanying infrastructure, entertainment facilities... associated with dog racing activities. Along with that is a system of high-class tourism and sports facilities such as hotels, water parks, ice skating, ice hockey rinks...

This sports and entertainment complex will be the largest in Asia. The association hopes that the locality will create conditions for investment research, development of investment ideas, and accompany the province to create new service and tourism products that attract tourists. The Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee stated that investing in a sports and entertainment complex is a good and very feasible idea, in line with the orientation and goals of transforming the development model, increasing the proportion of the service - tourism economic sector, and moving up to a higher segment in the province's economic value chain. Currently, there are 20 countries investing, doing business, and developing in Quang Ninh province with a total investment capital of nearly 14 billion USD. The province will create the most favorable conditions in terms of administrative procedures, land, site clearance, providing convenient public services, and an open, favorable, equal, and transparent investment and business environment for businesses to invest successfully, sustainably, and long-term in the province.
