The program has the participation of famous artists: People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Meritorious Artist Quyen Van Minh, singers My Linh, Ho Trung Dung, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Pham Anh Duy, Minh Hieu, Bui Huyen Trang, rapper Dr.Peem, Thang Long group, Thanh Vuong band, VOV string orchestra, Mat Troi trumpet orchestra, VK backing group, Ngoi Sao Nho club and Sunshine dance group, MC My Lan. The artists will perform songs about homeland, country, love, youth, and the medical industry such as: Loving Vietnam, Connecting big arms, Life, oh we love you, Let the wind take you away, A forest of trees, a life, Living like flowers, Doctor, oh smile... Especially "My teacher" - the name of the program is also the name of a new song written about Associate Professor Ton That Bach by author Nguyen Ba Hung, performed by Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung. Along with that, there will also be a performance by doctors from Viet Duc Hospital and students of Hanoi Medical University.
Through light, music , choreography combined with films/images and live exchanges, the program aims to honor the achievements and contributions of generations of doctors in the cause of protecting people's health and for the development of Medicine, at the same time, to pay tribute and commemorate the contributions of Associate Professor, Academician, Doctor, People's Teacher Ton That Bach to Vietnamese medicine and education. He is the one who inherited and excellently developed the achievements in Hepatobiliary surgery and Cardiovascular surgery left by his teacher and father - the late Professor, Academician Ton That Tung.
With his "golden hands", he saved the lives of many patients, gained a lot of surgical experience to develop the liver, gallbladder and heart surgery industry in Vietnam. He also trained and guided many generations of students to become talented doctors, upholding the medical ethics in the mission of saving people.
The program is also a message to connect with the next generations of scientists , to look forward, to wait for new challenges and opportunities, to build dreams and ambitions together, to fulfill the goal of contributing to life in the mission of saving people and to convey a message: Let will, faith and hope lead us to a bright new journey.
The program was attended by doctors, medical students, generations of students of Associate Professor Ton That Bach, and the exchange of guests: Professor, Doctor, Doctor Nguyen Huu Tu - President of Hanoi Medical University; Professor, Doctor, Doctor Doan Quoc Hung - Deputy Director in charge of the Cardiovascular Thoracic Center of Viet Duc Hospital, Vice President, Head of the Department of Surgery of Hanoi Medical University; Professor, Doctor, Doctor Tran Binh Giang - former Director of Viet Duc Hospital; Doctor, Doctor Duong Duc Hung - Director of Viet Duc Hospital.
The art exchange program "My Teacher" will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday (March 22) at the Hanoi Medical University Hall.
