Flexibility in organizing career guidance and experiential activities

To promote career orientation and streaming, the Ministry of Education and Training requires educational institutions to flexibly organize forms of experience and career orientation suitable to the psychological characteristics of age, needs, abilities of students and actual conditions.

Along with that, there needs to be a plan to supplement the number and training of the team doing consulting work, organizing career guidance and experience activities. Departments of Education and Training should increase the provision of information on the labor market and the training industry system to have an "output" orientation for students after middle school and high school.

The Ministry of Education and Training directed to continue implementing digital student records to ensure connection and data sharing with the National Population Database, serving digital transformation in the education sector.

Organize well the "Digital Education for All" movement for general education, connect education sector data with the national population data system to modernize management and improve teaching quality.

Digital capacity for students is also focused on in this process to ensure the formation and development of essential capacities of digital citizens, meeting human resource requirements in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0.

In particular, focus on increasing the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data in management and teaching. Exploiting and effectively using AI to support career counseling, personalize learning, identify students in need of support, and evaluate policies to contribute to improving the quality of education and the effectiveness of school management.

Ban on forcing students to buy reference books

Along with the requirement to prepare teaching conditions, provide enough textbooks before the new school year, continue to tighten the management of extra teaching and learning, the Ministry of Education and Training requires the Departments of Education and Training and schools to manage publications brought into schools. Absolutely do not force or mobilize students or parents to buy books and reference materials. At the same time, strengthen the management of organizing and participating in exams and competitions to ensure quality and compliance with regulations.
