Spring rice yield in 2025 is estimated at 61.5 quintals/ha

This year's spring rice crop, the whole province planted 9,600 hectares, including: Van Ban 3,360 hectares, Bao Yen 2,495 hectares, Bao Thang 1,560 hectares, Bat Xat 906 hectares, Muong Khuong 424 hectares, Bac Ha 380 hectares, Lao Cai city 475 hectares.

Spring rice yield is estimated at 61.5 tons/ha.

This year's weather is favorable, suitable for rice to tiller, form panicles, flower and ripen. In the spring crop of 2025, the rice area damaged by pests and diseases is small, contributing to reducing production costs, while rice yield and quality are quite good.

Local farmers speed up the spring rice harvest.

To promptly free up land for the winter-spring crop, localities recommend that farmers quickly harvest ripe spring rice and prepare adequate seeds and fertilizers for the next crop.
