According to information from the Russian Ministry of Defense on the evening of October 27, from October 21 to 27, Russian forces carried out a series of attacks using precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on targets in Ukraine. 31 Ukrainian aircraft of various types "were shot down".

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, a total of 19 group attacks were carried out against various strategic targets. The targets of the attacks included a range of military facilities, including artillery ammunition depots, unmanned boat landing sites, military airfield infrastructure, as well as fuel and lubricant bases.
In addition, the air defense and air force systems of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) recorded the destruction of 31 aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU). Among the destroyed aircraft were 20 MiG-29 fighters, 8 Su-25 attack aircraft, 1 Su-24 bomber, 2 L-39 combat training aircraft, 3 Mi-8 helicopters.

The information, taken from a summary of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, for the period from October 14 to October 20, 2023, shows the effectiveness of the Russian air defense and air force.
In addition, within a week, 35 Ukrainian drones were also destroyed and 200 HIMARS missiles, 5 operational-tactical missiles, 2 S-200 air defense missiles converted to attack versions and 6 JDAM guided bombs were intercepted.
