On November 3, the Russian Defense Ministry said that it had seized the village of Vyshneve in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine. On the same day, the Hungarian Prime Minister asked Europe to reconsider its support for Kiev if Mr. Trump is elected.

According to RIA news agency, the Russian Defense Ministry said its forces had captured the village of Vyshneve in the Donetsk region, eastern Ukraine.
Earlier, Russian forces also captured the village of Maksymivka. Meanwhile, the Military Summary channel reported that the Ukrainian army had "broken down" in South Donetsk.
On the same day, in a statement, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban expressed his view that Europe needs to reconsider its support for Ukraine if former US President Donald Trump returns to the White House.
According to the Hungarian leader, "Europe cannot bear the burden of the conflict (in Ukraine) alone" because Mr. Trump has a stance that does not support continuing the conflict in Ukraine.
Prime Minister Orban has repeatedly opposed military aid to Ukraine and supported Mr. Trump in the 2024 US election. Mr. Orban believes that if the US shifts to supporting peace , Europe will also need to adapt.
The situation in Ukraine will be high on the agenda when European leaders meet in the Hungarian capital Budapest next week for a European Political Community meeting and an informal summit of European Union (EU) leaders.
Earlier in July, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said Mr Trump was “an opportunity for peace” in Ukraine. Hungary’s close ties with Russia and opposition to Ukraine aid have upset Brussels.
