Recently, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the starting price for the auction of the right to lease assets on land and land lease for Thuy Ta restaurant.
The starting price for this restaurant is over 3.6 billion VND/year and the lease will be auctioned for 10 years, paid annually. Of which, the house rent is 378 million VND/year and the land rent is nearly 3.3 billion VND/year.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned Da Lat City People's Committee to develop criteria, organize evaluation and scoring to select property auction organizations; supervise property auctions in accordance with regulations; ensure publicity, transparency, and high competitiveness to select organizations and individuals with the highest prices, increasing maximum revenue for the state budget.
Currently, Thuy Ta restaurant is located in the Xuan Huong Lake national scenic complex and is one of the iconic structures of Da Lat city. This is an ideal destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
According to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the Thuy Ta restaurant area is expected to be auctioned by the locality in 2024. In this project, the winning bidder must maintain the status quo of all items.

Previously, at the end of October 2023, Da Lat City People's Committee organized an auction of the Thuy Ta restaurant land with a starting price of more than 3 billion VND/year.
After 63 bidding steps, Mr. Doan Hai Ha (in Hanoi) won the auction for the right to rent this restaurant at 15 billion VND/year, equivalent to more than 151 billion VND in 10 years.
However, on November 21, 2023, Mr. Doan Hai Ha sent a notice not to invest in Thuy Ta restaurant because he was not allowed to change the restaurant name. The businessman from Hanoi then withdrew his deposit and the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee decided to cancel the above auction results.
