Regarding the agricultural, forestry and fishery loan package, the Department of Credit for Economic Sectors (State Bank) said that this loan package is being implemented very effectively, contributing to supporting production, business and export activities.
Specifically, 17 commercial banks participated in the Loan Program, with nearly 23,800 customers borrowing capital, reaching 94% of the program's implementation target. Customers who meet the conditions are eligible to borrow at a rate at least 1%-2% lower than the average lending rate for the same term.
The representative of the Department of Credit for Economic Sectors added that from 2023 to present, in order to continue supporting agricultural, forestry and fishery enterprises to recover and develop production and business, the State Bank has increased the scale of the Program twice, from 15,000 billion VND to 30,000 billion VND, then to 60,000 billion VND.
“In particular, implementing the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister on growth, promoting public investment disbursement, as well as striving to achieve the GDP growth target of 8% in 2025, the State Bank has issued a document directing the implementation of increasing the scale of the Credit Program to VND 100,000 billion and expanding the scope of implementation,” Mr. Nguyen Xuan Bac - Deputy Director of the Department of Credit for Economic Sectors added./.
