This is a prestigious ASEAN regional award held annually since 2007 to honor businesses with outstanding achievements and contributions to the development of the region. Recently, within the framework of the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit adjacent to the 44th ASEAN Summit in Laos, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank ( Sacombank ) was the only Vietnamese bank to be named by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC) at the ASEAN Business Awards 2024 (ABA 2024) - Digital Transformation field.

ABA 2024 focuses on priority integration areas: Agriculture , Energy, Food & Beverage, Digital Transformation, Infrastructure, Tourism - Travel, Healthcare, Transportation & Logistics, Education... In particular, the Digital Transformation award is for businesses with strong digital transformation capabilities, bringing breakthrough changes in operations and customer experience. The award is a recognition of the long-term digital transformation roadmap that Sacombank has pursued since the early days to create a seamless and consistent digital journey for customers, solving all financial needs quickly and conveniently.
