On the afternoon of October 3, Dong Hung District Culture and Sports Center coordinated with the Provincial Library to organize the Dream Nurturing Reading Festival at Dong Huy Primary School, Dong Quan Commune.
Provincial Library staff presented useful books as gifts to students at the festival.
170 students from 5 grades of Dong Huy Primary School participated in warm-up games, answered fun quizzes about books, experienced reading books on the multimedia library car, and were guided by staff from the Provincial Library on how to read books effectively. After reading, the students were able to talk about the books they had read, answer questions about characters in the books, draw pictures based on the books... and receive gifts of useful books. The festival created a friendly and healthy environment for students to have the opportunity to practice self-discipline in learning, love and appreciate books more, and develop the reading movement in schools.
