Darwin Nunez scored the third goal to give Liverpool a 3-1 lead over Toulouse before the two teams went into the break.
The Uruguayan striker had a chance to score a double in the 65th minute. This player had a solo performance on the left wing, passing the defender as well as goalkeeper Guillaume Restes, but in front of an empty goal, he hit the post.

Luckily for Nunez, teammate Ryan Gravenberch finished off the rebound to score Liverpool's fourth goal shortly after. In the 90+3 minute, Mohamed Salah scored the winning goal to seal a 5-1 victory for Liverpool against Toulouse. This result helped The Kop take the top spot in Group E with 9 points after 3 wins.

Many fans expressed their amazement at Darwin Nunez's unbelievable miss on social network X (formerly known as Twitter).

This is not Nunez's first regrettable miss in the Europa League this season. The Uruguayan striker left a big disappointment against Royal Union Saint-Gilloise with a forgettable finish right in front of the goal.
