Fishing nets are a unique cultural feature of coastal fishermen. This activity takes place on days with favorable weather, when the sea is calm and there are no big waves. Fishermen gather in groups of about 10-15 people, using large nets thousands of meters long to catch fish. |

According to fishermen, the trawl net is so large that it takes more than 10 people to pull it to shore. Trawling requires coordination, from choosing the location to pull the net, to watching the tide to pull the net. |

"Pulling the net is a very laborious job, because we have to use all our strength to collect the net from a distance of nearly 1 km offshore. Although it is hard work, thanks to it, fishermen have income, and families always have fresh fish to eat after each trip at sea. Most of the fish caught in the net are anchovies, hairtail, scad and even squid. When the net is pulled ashore, the fish are still fresh, attracting many people to come and see and buy right there," said Mr. Hoang (residing in Tho Quang ward). |
