Vietnam won the gold medal in the women's 4-rattan sepak takraw event.

In the final match, Vietnam's sepak takraw team took the field with the following lineup: Tran Thi Ngoc Yen, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen, Nguyen Thi My and Nguyen Thi Yen.

In the first game, Vietnam was mentally exhausted and made many basic mistakes, so they lost to their opponent 18-21.

But during the break, coach Tran Thi Vui did a good job of ideologically motivating her students.

Therefore, entering the second game, Ngoc Yen and her teammates played better when they continuously led their opponents and won 21-18.

The victory in the second game helped the Vietnamese sepak takraw team feel much more comfortable.

Entering the third game, Coach Tran Thi Vui's students appeared quite excited when they took full advantage of the opportunities to lead their opponents.

Meanwhile, Indonesia appeared confused and made many basic mistakes.

In the end, the Vietnamese women's sepak takraw team won 21-14 in the third game to complete the comeback.

Notably, Vietnam also completed a double gold medal in the women's 4-course sepak takraw event when winning the world championship and ASIAD.

This is also the second gold medal of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the 19th ASIAD.

Previously, Vietnam won a gold medal in shooting thanks to shooter Pham Quang Huy.

Not long ago, the Indonesian men's sepak takraw team lost the final to Myanmar, winning the silver medal.
