Unlike previous years, when network problems often occurred during the opening night of DIFF, this year, the network operator has carefully prepared all plans to ensure that network interruptions and congestion do not affect the experience of people and tourists during the competition.

Through a survey of the routes and crowded areas at the opening time of DIFF 2024 such as Bach Dang Street, Tran Hung Dao Street, Han River Bridge, Dragon Bridge... for more than 1 hour of the opening ceremony, the 3G, 4G, 5G transmission lines of the network operators were still very stable.

The convenient livestream also contributes to promoting Da Nang tourist destination.

Mr. Vo Hoai Nam, a content creator on digital platforms, said that unlike previous years, when DIFF took place, the transmission and network connection were unstable and congested.

This year, he was able to live stream the competition on social media platforms to his tens of thousands of followers.

This not only helps his fans enjoy the opening night of DIFF directly but also contributes to inviting more people to come to Da Nang on this occasion.

Similarly, Ms. Phan Thi Khanh Hoa, a tourist from Hanoi , expressed that at festivals and major events, there are often congestion, interruptions, or unstable network connections.

However, the opening night of DIFF 2024 gave her the feeling that the city had carefully prepared for tourists to watch in areas outside the stands.

Through measuring 4G signal from specialized application, from about 20:30 to 22:00 at crowded places with each network operator, specifically:

Regarding Viettel network, when using 4G waves at crowded places, the average download traffic is over 58 Mbps (Megabit/second), upload traffic is 6 Mbps, and the network signal is strong.

Regarding 4G waves of VinaPhone network, it remains stable at 5-40 Mbps when downloading and 2-5 Mbps when uploading.

MobiFone's 4G network is also equivalent to VinaPhone's when upload traffic is around 5-35 Mbps, download traffic is from 2-6 Mbps.

Telecommunications operators have made efforts to ensure transmission and connection during the opening night of DIFF 2024.
