The head of Thanh Thuan neighborhood (Thanh Dien ward) pointed to the water source from the Company flowing onto the roadside, which was pitch black and smelled bad.
Thanh Thuan Ward Chief Tran Phi Hung said that the company's wastewater flows past people's houses and gives off a foul smell, making people upset.
Local people petitioned the competent authorities to clarify whether the company's discharge of smoke and wastewater into the environment meets environmental protection standards according to legal regulations or not. If not, it needs to be strictly handled.
