The cause of nearly a dozen young men fighting with beer bottles in Ho Chi Minh City

(Dan Tri) - Initially, the investigation agency determined that the cause of the fight was because the people at the snail restaurant C. thought that the customers of the beer restaurant OM parked their pickup trucks, blocking the view of the restaurant.


Regarding the incident of nearly a dozen young men fighting on Pham Van Dong Avenue, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City, on the evening of November 24, on November 25, Go Vap District Police coordinated with Ward 1 Police to bring a number of people involved in the incident to headquarters to take statements.

According to initial information, the incident occurred between two shops located close to each other on Pham Van Dong Street. OM Beer Shop at 264 and C. Snail Shop at 280 are only about 70m apart. C. Snail Shop usually arranges tables and chairs along the sidewalk, creating space for customers.

At around 10pm on November 24, a group of young men from the snail restaurant walked past the beer restaurant to meet Mr. MDL (40 years old, living in Thu Duc City, owner of the beer restaurant). They complained that the pickup truck parked near the snail restaurant was blocking their view. The group asked the beer restaurant's customers not to park near the snail restaurant, leading to a conflict between the two sides.

The group of young men from the snail restaurant then returned to take beer bottles, glasses, and tables and chairs and threw them at the beer restaurant. This action caused the staff and customers of the beer restaurant to run away, while passersby also tried to avoid the scene.

Mr. L. and some other people were attacked by a group of young men with bottles and glasses when they passed by the snail restaurant. One young man in the snail restaurant group also used a chair to hit Mr. L., causing scratches on his arms and stomach.

After causing trouble, the group of young men quickly left the scene. Mr. M. reported the incident to the police.

Go Vap District Police have conducted an investigation of the scene and are searching for the group of young men from the snail restaurant. It is known that among those involved in the incident were employees, friends and acquaintances of the snail restaurant.

Currently, the police continue to investigate the remaining people and consolidate the case file to handle the act of Disturbing public order.
