According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the country recently inaugurated a large-scale coastal resort in Kalma - the eastern coastal region of North Korea.

Kalma tourist area has a total area of up to 245 hectares with hundreds of buildings and thousands of hotel rooms with a capacity of nearly 20,000 guests, equipped with many amenities, commercial and public food services serving both domestic and foreign tourists./.
