At around 9:19 a.m. on July 16, people discovered a fire breaking out at a wood workshop in Phu Dong commune. The fire quickly engulfed the warehouse, causing many people to worry.

Upon receiving the news, the local fire prevention and fighting force, Phu Dong commune militia and local people coordinated to handle the situation and at the same time reported to Hanoi City Police.
