On October 18, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Hoang Trong Thuy (residing in Thua Thien Hue province) said that after posting Tran Bang Nhi's letter on his personal Facebook page, some people contacted him to ask for help for Pham Quang Hoai.

Previously, Tran Bang Nhi (7th grade student, Phan Dinh Phung Secondary School, Vu Quang District, Ha Tinh ) wrote a handwritten letter to Mr. Thuy asking for help for his classmate, Pham Quang Hoai. In the letter, Bang Nhi said that Hoai's situation was very difficult, he was worried that without help, Hoai's path to study would gradually come to an end.

Mr. Thuy said that when he received Bang Nhi's letter, he was very moved and posted the letter on social networks for friends and relatives to share.

According to Mr. Thuy, he did not know Bang Nhi, but the female student and her mother knew about him because a few years ago his organization donated books to Bang Nhi. Since then, Bang Nhi's mother has been following him on social media.

After hearing Bang Nhi talk about Hoai's difficult situation, Bang Nhi's mother contacted Mr. Thuy for help. Upon receiving the request, Mr. Thuy asked Bang Nhi to write a letter about Hoai's situation to get more information and find a way to help.

"Receiving her letter, I was moved and shared my feelings on social media, but I didn't expect it to spread and attract so much attention. Some of my friends contacted me to offer to help Hoai. I also promised to give her books to encourage her," said Mr. Thuy.

Mr. Thuy confided that he was born and raised in poverty, and thanks to scholarships he was able to complete his university studies and have the life he has today.

He also thinks that only education can help Hoai and other poor children become independent, because if they are uneducated at their age, there are many unpredictable dangers waiting ahead.
