(NADS) - On the afternoon of October 12, the Award Ceremony and Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Vietnam Wildlife Birds and Animals Photo Exhibition took place at Vivo City Shopping Center, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
The contest is co-organized by the Vietnam Wildlife Photography Club (VWPC), Wildtour LTD, BirdLife International and sponsored by the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association.
First Prize was awarded to author Chung Van Thanh ( Ha Giang ) for taking a photo of the Tonkin snub-nosed monkey.
In addition, two Second Prizes went to authors Dinh Xuan Truong (Photo : Stilt and flower ) and Do Xuan Tam ( Red-winged thrush ).
Third Prize awarded to the authors: Phan Van Phu ( Red-tailed Babbler ), Huynh Van Truyen ( Whales and Terns ), Pham Trung Kien ( Little Kingfisher ).
In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 4 Encouragement prizes and the following prizes: Beautiful photos of endemic birds, Beautiful photos of endemic animals, Beautiful photos of coastal migratory birds. and impressive solution
In the impressive photo category, the award was given to the photo work Little Coolie by author Nguyen Quoc Hoai.
The category of beautiful photos of endemic animals was awarded to author Nguyen Manh Hiep with the photo of Cat Ba Langur.
Beautiful photo of coastal migratory birds awarded to author Cao Thi Thanh Ha with the photo of coastal migratory birds on salt fields.
Beautiful photo of endemic bird awarded to author Tran Nhat Tien with the photo of Red-cheeked Laughingthrush.
