Ninh Binh builds public housing area, ensuring stability for officials after province merger

The People's Committee of Ninh Binh province has just approved the investment policy for the Official Housing Area with a total capital of more than 210 billion VND to meet the stable housing needs of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers at state agencies.

The People's Committee of Ninh Binh province has just issued Decision No. 807/QD-UBND approving the investment policy of the Provincial Official Housing Construction Project. This is one of the key infrastructure projects in the period of rearrangement and reorganization of provincial administrative units after the merger of the three provinces of Ha Nam, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh, according to the project directed by the Government.

With a total investment of VND 210,797 billion from the provincial budget in the Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2026-2030, the project aims to solve the need for stable and long-term housing for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working at administrative agencies in the area, especially in cases of transfer and appointment after organizational restructuring.

The project will be implemented on the basis of the existing infrastructure of the Social Housing Project for the poor, policy families and low-income people in Ninh Nhat commune (now Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh province). Specifically, two buildings B and C will be completed, including continuing the construction of unfinished items and fully furnishing the apartments. At the same time, the technical infrastructure system and auxiliary works will also be invested synchronously, ensuring adequate living and working conditions for residents.

The project is divided into two phases: investment preparation and legal procedures will be completed in 2025; construction will begin and the entire project will be completed in 2026. The Ninh Binh Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board is the implementing agency, responsible for coordinating with relevant units to develop a feasibility study report and implement the project on schedule, ensuring quality and avoiding capital construction debt.

The Department of Construction of Ninh Binh province is assigned to guide and urge investors to complete documents and procedures according to legal regulations, especially strictly complying with the Law on Public Investment.
