After more than 7 years of implementing the Project "Supporting Women to Start a Business" for the period 2018-2025, the Project has achieved and exceeded a number of set targets: 90% of specialized Union officials at all levels have raised awareness and methods to support women in starting and developing businesses (exceeding the target by 20%); over 146,961 members and women have been educated and raised awareness about employment and starting a business (exceeding the target by 5%); 1,526 women have been supported in starting a business and starting a business (exceeding the target by 59%); 336 newly established enterprises, business households/cooperatives (Cooperative Groups)/Cooperative Groups (Cooperative Groups) have been consulted and supported (exceeding the target by 12%); 1 Cooperative Group and 7 Cooperatives have been coordinated and supported to be established and managed by women, bringing the total number of cooperatives owned by women to 26.

Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Phan Thi Ngan Hanh, President of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Women's Union - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of Project 939 in Ninh Thuan Province, acknowledged and commended the outstanding efforts and important results and contributions of departments, branches and localities in the past time. At the same time, she affirmed: Project 939 has spread and penetrated deeply into the subconscious of members, women and the community, contributing to raising the level of the task of enhancing the real economic power for women of the Union at all levels, creating a new atmosphere, arousing the spirit of self-reliance, rising up to establish a business, start-up, creative start-up, the desire to get rich of members, women and people. Through the activities of the Project, members and women have confidently affirmed their capacity in building and developing businesses, starting up, creating jobs for women in the locality, increasing income, making an important contribution to the socio -economic development of the province.
In particular, the Conference listened to presentations and experience sharing from departments, branches, localities and successful female entrepreneurs who brought valuable lessons, inspiring women in Ninh Thuan province to continue to overcome difficulties in starting a business, opening up new directions for the next stage, with the determination to build a comprehensive, equal and sustainable startup ecosystem for women.

To continue affirming the important role of women in the socio-economic development of the province, Ms. Phan Thi Ngan Hanh emphasized a number of contents that need to be focused on in the coming time. That is, continuing to raise awareness for women and the whole society about the movement of women starting businesses, starting innovative businesses; Creating an environment for women in disadvantaged areas, women with disabilities, poor women, ... to boldly participate in starting businesses, contributing to the economic development of individuals, families and the country.
In addition, it is necessary to improve the capacity of women entrepreneurs through training courses, business management, specialized training courses for each field of startups, and technology application in the startup process; Support women entrepreneurs to access preferential capital sources, microfinance models suitable for women, especially women in rural and remote areas. At the same time, build networks and connections, develop sustainable startup models...
