The international organization Skytrax has just announced the results of the world airport rankings in 2024. In this list, Vietnam has 2 airports honored: Noi Bai airport and Da Nang airport.
Da Nang Airport is in the top 100 best airports in the world for the first time
Of which, Da Nang International Airport for the first time and Noi Bai International Airport for the 6th time are in the "Top 100 Best Airports in the World".
Skytrax's rankings are based on the opinions of millions of passengers from more than 100 countries on a series of specific criteria regarding service quality at international passenger terminals, convenience, comfort, language ability, service attitude of staff, etc.
Many important measures to improve quality have been applied at Noi Bai International Airport such as coordinated operations and technology to solve the problem of passenger growth exceeding the design capacity of the two terminals.
Non-aviation businesses and taxi companies are required to commit to ensuring service quality, strictly punishing violations, and maintaining channels to receive passenger feedback.
Noi Bai Airport is in the top 100 best airports in the world for the 6th time
Noi Bai International Airport also organized the cultural week "Fragrance of Hanoi "; spring welcoming activities for passengers on the occasion of Lunar New Year. Review and add many convenient services such as: phone charging, free wifi, children's play area, child care area; ensure infrastructure for people with disabilities.
Similarly, Da Nang International Airport focuses on promoting Vietnamese culture, investing in installing miniature landscapes imbued with local identity, and incorporating traditional elements into performing arts such as the "Heritage Road" program.
Previously, on January 1, 2024, the passenger terminal of Da Nang International Airport became the first and only terminal in Vietnam to be rated 5 stars according to Skytrax standards.
According to the results, the amenities highly appreciated by Skytrax are business class lounges, baby strollers, children's play areas, mother and baby rooms, shopping trolleys, prayer rooms, self-service check-in counters, self-service baggage drop-off counters, automatic immigration gates and automatic departure gates.
