Nokia is in trouble again

Accordingly, a series of Nokia-branded phones have been removed from HMD Global's sales website in Europe. Newly launched phone models will be renamed, while old models will be announced as "end of life" and no longer for sale. This process is taking place quietly.

However, on HMD Global's websites in Asia, North America and Latin America, Nokia phones are still available, indicating that the transition is not happening simultaneously. Some technology sites predict that HMD Global is likely to sell off all remaining inventory in these regions before proceeding with the removal.

The reason mentioned by GizChina may be because the license to use the Nokia brand will expire at the end of this year, HMD wants to focus on its own brand instead of applying for an extension.

Some experts say the smartphone market is increasingly competitive and Nokia seems to be losing its position and is no longer attractive enough to customers.

HMD has yet to comment on the above content.
