At around 9 p.m., a 7-seat car with a Hau Giang province license plate was traveling on Quang Trung Street, heading from Pham Van Dong Street to National Highway 1. When it reached the section belonging to Ward 12, it suddenly hit the median strip and flipped over.
At this time, many people ran to help the driver get out of the car. The driver suffered minor scratches.
At the scene, the car was dented on one side and damaged. The accident caused traffic congestion.
Go Vap District authorities then arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and extract camera footage to clarify the incident.
Recently, there have been a series of car crashes or accidents on Quang Trung Street. Typically, on the morning of November 27, a container truck with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate driven by a male driver was traveling on this street. The container truck suddenly crashed into several meters of iron divider in the middle of the road.
The car was then towed away, clearing traffic congestion.
The car then crossed into the opposite lane, causing the trailer carrying the container to flip over onto the road and part of the sidewalk, crushing and pushing a nearby garbage truck onto the sidewalk.
