Oasis fans are eagerly awaiting the legendary rock band's reunion in 2025, but they are facing a problem with online ticket scams on the Facebook platform.

On August 27, Oasis announced a world tour, marking the end of a 15-year family feud between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.
This reunion created a ticket rush, causing many fans to miss out on purchasing tickets from official websites and have to seek opportunities from unofficial sources.
According to a report by Lloyds Bank (UK), since Oasis announced its reunion at the end of August, about 70% of the fraud reports received by the bank were related to Oasis concert ticket purchases.
Oasis fans are being targeted by a spate of ticket scams on social media, as the Manchester rock icons prepare to return to the stage after last performing together in 2009, Lloyds Bank said.
Lloyds analysis of fraud targeting its customers found hundreds of ticket scams in the first month after the re-unification announcement.

According to Lloyds Bank, more than 90% of scams start with fake ads or posts on social media, and the majority of these scams originate on Facebook.
Victims lost an average of £346 ($449) and in some cases as much as £1,000.
Oasis have also warned that tickets purchased from resale websites will not be valid at their shows, adding to the anxiety of fans worried about buying fake tickets from untrustworthy sources.
