74-year-old owner burned to death in acacia garden

On the morning of August 18, according to information from the People's Committee of Duc Tho district ( Ha Tinh ), authorities are investigating the cause of death of a local elderly man after a fire in a garden hill.

At around 5:00 p.m. on August 17, a fire broke out in the acacia hill garden of Mr. NNQ's family (74 years old, in Dong Tam village, Duc Dong commune).

The local authorities mobilized forces to coordinate with the people to put out the fire. After the fire was controlled, the authorities discovered Mr. Q. dead in a burnt state in a drainage ditch.

Local leaders said that the 74-year-old man had previously gone to clear the garden and burned the ground, causing a large fire. Therefore, Mr. Q. may have panicked, tripped, and died.
