On the afternoon of February 25, the People's Council of Dak Song district, term V, 2021-2026, held a special meeting to review and decide on a number of important contents.
Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Council Mai Thi Xuan Trung attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the Dak Song District People's Council approved the proposal to dismiss Mr. Ngo Duc Trong, former Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the Dak Song People's Committee, from his duties as a delegate of the Dak Song District People's Council for the 2021-2026 term. Previously, the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee had transferred and appointed Mr. Trong to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Gia Nghia City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term to introduce him to be elected as Chairman of the Gia Nghia City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
The meeting approved the report on introducing personnel and proposing to elect the position of Chairman of Dak Song District People's Committee, term 2021-2026 for Mr. Tran Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee.
As a result, Mr. Tran Manh Hung was elected by the District People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the Dak Song District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, with 100% of the votes.
In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman of Dak Song District People's Committee thanked the People's Council delegates for their trust and election to the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee. Mr. Tran Manh Hung promised to strive to build a united collective, together with the Party Committee, government and local people to develop more and more.
