Launching the Writing Contest 'Deep Memories of Teachers and School'

At the Launching Ceremony of the Contest, journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam, Editor-in-Chief of Education and Training Newspaper, Permanent Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee shared that in each person's journey, we are fortunate to meet teachers with passionate hearts and boundless love.

“This writing contest is not only a literary playground, but also a meaningful journey to awaken the most genuine emotions in each of us. Through each word, each paragraph, we will see beautiful images of teachers, of the brilliant years of student life” - journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam expressed.

The writing contest “Deep memories of teachers and school” was held starting in 2018 to honor and disseminate the experiences of homeroom teachers with good feelings, work, and achievements by encouraging students, teachers, education managers, and parents to write about their deep memories of homeroom teachers and homeroom work.

The Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee believes that this year's Contest will be a place for generations of students to share and express gratitude to their teachers. After the Contest, the beautiful images in each work will be further expanded and spread.

“Those stories will be the bricks that contribute to building a monument of gratitude and honor for teachers - those who have been and are sowing the seeds for the future of the country. To fulfill this great responsibility, in addition to motivational policies and the efforts of each teacher, we need the companionship, understanding and sharing of the whole society,” said journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam.

At the launching ceremony, journalist Duong Thanh Huong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Education and Training Newspaper announced the Rules of the Writing Contest "Deep memories of teachers and school" in 2024.

It is known that the writing contest: "Deep memories of teachers and school" in 2023 attracted over 80,000 entries. The Preliminary Jury selected 44 entries for the Final round. The Jury selected and awarded 30 prizes (2 collective prizes and 28 individual prizes). The Jury assessed that the quality of the entries was quite good with many entries leaving a deep impression, due to the elaborate investment in both content and form of expression.
