With the motto of promoting the spirit of “Mutual love”, the grassroots trade unions have called on union members, workers and laborers to voluntarily contribute at least one day’s salary to help people in flood-hit areas overcome the current difficult period. On the morning of the launch, units responded with a donation of over 300 million VND. This amount will be transferred to the trade union accounts of Dong Thap industrial parks and economic zones before being transferred to the authorities to support the people.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones, in addition to mobilizing union members, workers, and laborers, many grassroots trade unions also have plans to mobilize business owners to participate in support.
