On the morning of December 3 , Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai visited and surveyed the conservation and restoration work of My Son Temple Complex.
Currently, My Son Temple Complex includes about 71 relics and ruins. Over the years, UNESCO and many countries have coordinated and supported the implementation of conservation and restoration projects for the relics here. These efforts have contributed to helping the relics gradually escape from ruin, moving towards stability and sustainability.
The cooperation and coordination process has created premises and experience in the management, conservation and restoration of Cham architectural relics in general and My Son in particular. The relics are preserved and promoted in a sustainable manner. According to the signed minutes, in the coming time, India will continue to support the restoration of the two relic sites E and F.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai highly appreciated the efforts of the My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board in preserving, restoring and promoting the value of the heritage. According to the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, the Law on Cultural Heritage (amended) recently passed at the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly will create a legal corridor for activities to protect and promote the value of cultural heritage. The My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board must quickly access the new Law to facilitate the management and development of the relic site, especially in developing My Son's typical tourism products, affirming the position of My Son on the tourism map of Quang Nam as well as Vietnam.
