Japanese Prime Minister's wife experiences Thai dance and throwing con

On the morning of April 28, Ms. Ishiba Yoshiko, wife of the Prime Minister of Japan, and Ms. Le Thi Bich Tran, wife of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, visited the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

Within the framework of the official visit to Vietnam, Mrs. Ishiba Yoshiko and Mrs. Le Thi Bich Tran visited and experienced the unique cultural space of the Vietnamese ethnic community at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village (Dong Mo Tourist Area, Son Tay Town, Hanoi).

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, representatives of Vietnamese ethnic groups warmly welcomed the two ladies with applause, along with traditional songs and musical instruments.

At the Thai Ethnic Village, the two ladies were welcomed into the central space of the Thai stilt house by artisan Lo Thi Tom, Head of the Thai ethnic group, and introduced to the traditions of the northern ethnic groups in the village. The artisan also introduced the meaning of the con fruit and invited the two ladies and delegates to participate in the experience of making the con fruit.

Artist Lo Thi Tam invited two ladies to throw the shuttlecock and participate in the Thai xoe dance.

At the Xo Dang Ethnic Village, Mrs. Ishiba Yoshiko and Mrs. Le Thi Bich Tran were introduced to the culture of the Xo Dang ethnic group by the excellent artisan Y Sinh and listened to songs performed on the T'Rung and K'long put instruments.
