Phu Quoc in Top 3 most beautiful islands in Asia - Pacific in 2025

(PLVN) - Recently, Travel + Leisure magazine announced the Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2025, honoring the top resort destinations in the Asia-Pacific region.

In the 10 most beautiful islands in the Asia- Pacific region just announced, Phu Quoc ranked 3rd, after Bali (Indonesia) and Koh Samui (Thailand). The other islands ranked after are Palawan (Philippines), Phuket (Thailand), Langkawi (Malaysia)...

Travel + Leisure magazine emphasized that Phu Quoc is famous for its beautiful beaches such as Bai Kem and Bai Sao with creamy white sand, mild nature, calm sea, and clear water.

The Luxury Awards Asia Pacific is held annually to honor luxury destinations in the region with rapid tourism growth, based on criteria of service, resort - entertainment ecosystem and personalized experience.

Previously, Phu Quoc was also selected by Forbes as one of the top 6 most luxurious and tranquil destinations in the world in 2025, with praise for its endless beaches, clear water and breathtaking sunsets.

According to statistics from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, by the end of May 2025, Phu Quoc is estimated to welcome more than 4.5 million visitors, an increase of 33.3% over the same period, reaching 61.1% of the annual plan, including nearly 900,000 international visitors, an increase of 76.7% over the same period. Total revenue from tourism activities is about VND 21,588 billion (an increase of 92.6% over the same period, reaching 91.9% of the 2025 plan).

Currently, Phu Quoc is focusing on investing in the construction of a series of key projects to serve the APEC 2027 event...
