Accordingly, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province basically agrees with the draft Submission of the Ministry of Planning and Investment on the proposal to develop a resolution of the National Assembly on the plan to implement the provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. At the same time, it is proposed that the Ministry of Planning and Investment agree to report to the Prime Minister to submit to the National Assembly for consideration of the content of the resolution in the direction of stipulating that the provincial People's Committee promulgates and adjusts the plan to implement the provincial planning within the scope of its tasks and powers after the provincial planning is approved.
According to the Provincial People's Committee, it is necessary to stipulate that the Provincial People's Committee promulgates and adjusts the plan to implement the provincial planning, in order to simplify the procedures and at the same time create initiative for localities to be flexible in directing, managing and operating the process of organizing the implementation of the provincial planning.
On the other hand, in Notice No. 104, dated March 19, 2024 of the Government Office , Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to urgently study and report to the Government to submit to the National Assembly at the 7th session on the content of decentralization to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to approve the content of the plan to implement the provincial planning.
