The total planning budget is over 3.2 billion VND, of which the cost of topographic survey is 441 million VND, planning task preparation is 441 million VND and planning project preparation is over 2.33 billion VND.

The ancient water exploitation system consists of 30 wells in Gio An commune built by the Cham people 2,000 years ago. The well system has a unique architecture, formed by stacking cobblestones to lead underground water for people's daily life and production.

In 2001, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognized 14 typical wells as national monuments. Quang Tri then restored and renovated 7 wells and turned this area into a tourist attraction that attracts many visitors.
