The Ministry of Transport has just issued the prices for flight control services for departures and arrivals and the prices for flight control services through flight information regions managed by Vietnam.
According to the new regulations effective from January 1, 2025, service prices are calculated based on the maximum take-off weight of each flight at the following levels: Under 20 tons; from 20 to under 50 tons; from 50 to under 100 tons; from 100 to under 150 tons; from 150 to under 190 tons; from 190 tons to under 240 tons; from 204 tons to under 300 tons and from 300 tons or more.
The price of flight control services for departures and arrivals and the price of flight control services for flights through flight information regions managed by Vietnam are specifically regulated for each maximum take-off weight and flight control distance (Illustration photo).
In addition, the price is also calculated based on the flight distance through the flight information area managed by Vietnam, which is less than or from 500km or more.
Accordingly, for regular flights flying through the flight information region managed by Vietnam, aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 300 tons or more will have an operation service price of 480 USD/flight (flight distance through the flight information region managed by Vietnam is less than 500 km) or 520 USD/flight (flight distance through the flight information region managed by Vietnam is 500 km or more).
With the same maximum take-off weight, a regular flight flying through Vietnam's airspace and the flight information region managed by Vietnam will cost 227 USD/flight (Total flight distance through Vietnam's airspace and the flight information region managed by Vietnam is less than 500 km) or 246 USD/flight (Total flight distance through Vietnam's airspace and the flight information region managed by Vietnam is 500 km or more).
Similarly, the price of flight operation services for departure and arrival also has separate regulations between international and domestic flights.
Specifically, for international flights with operating distances of less than 250 km of aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 300 tons or more, the flight operation service price for departure and arrival flights is 425 USD/take-off or landing and 520 USD/take-off or landing for operating distances of 250 km or more. The corresponding price for domestic flights is 5,784,500 VND/take-off or landing and 9,568,000 VND/take-off or landing.
