As of June 30, 2025, ABBANK's total assets reached VND 204,851 billion, up 16% compared to the beginning of the year and exceeding the annual plan by 2%; Mobilization from customers and issuance of valuable papers reached VND 149,587 billion, up 36% compared to the beginning of the year; Outstanding credit reached VND 122,364 billion, up more than 11% compared to the beginning of the year, mainly in the individual customer group - the Bank's strategic group.
Pre-tax profit at the end of the second quarter of 2025 reached VND 1,669 billion, an increase of nearly 200% over the same period in 2024. The business results in the first half of 2025 came from the growth of net interest income by 21.1%, net profit from service activities increased by 202.1% over the same period. Operating efficiency by the end of the second quarter of 2025 was accordingly improved, with CIR reaching 31.29%, RoE reaching 18.3%.
As of June 30, 2025, ABBANK has completed 93% of the 2025 profit after tax plan.
Asset quality is well controlled. By June 30, 2025, ABBANK has set aside VND 865 billion for credit risk provisions; bad debt is controlled at 1.9%, maintained below 3% according to the State Bank's regulations.
Capital quality is also guaranteed according to the standards of the State Bank: Capital adequacy ratio (CAR) maintained above 8%, high liquidity with LDR reaching 62.82%. Thanks to that, the world rating organization Moody's continues to assess ABBANK's prospects at Stable amid the challenges of the Vietnamese market.
In the second quarter of 2025, Digital Banking activities continued to be a highlight. The new generation Digital Banking platform ABBANK was introduced with many innovative features, notably the ABBY Family feature that helps parents accompany their children in managing their personal finances. The number of transactions by individual customers on digital channels increased by 18.6%, the number of customers transacting also increased by 5.8% compared to the first quarter of 2025.
Digital banking platforms for individual and corporate customers are recognized as making an important contribution to promoting customer engagement with ABBANK.
In the corporate customer segment, the ABBANK Business platform plays an important role with 80% of transactions conducted online, improving the experience and saving operating time. The application is constantly supplemented with new features, meeting business needs such as: multi-channel collection, specialized overdraft for distributors, etc.
Mr. Pham Duy Hieu - General Director of ABBANK commented: "ABBANK's significantly improved growth in the second quarter of 2025 comes from the fact that the Bank is promoting internal factors and efficiency from drastic restructuring of its operating apparatus. In the second half of the year, ABBANK aims to continue strong growth in credit, mobilization and services, with pre-tax profit expected to exceed the plan of VND 1,800 billion. In addition, the Bank also focuses on credit management and strict control of bad debt".
2025 is also a pivotal year for ABBANK in innovating, restructuring the apparatus, optimizing operations, and investing in people through the ABBELL program - Improving management and leadership capacity for key staff. Compensation policies for employees are also promoted: salary increase, performance bonus, preferential loans, and car purchase vouchers.
