(Dan Tri) - VinFuture Foundation announced the expansion of the InnovaConnect program for all institutes, schools, and research organizations nationwide that wish to establish relationships with the world's leading scientists and experts.
The program aims to promote practical cooperation and sustainable development in the field of science and technology.
The InnovaConnect connection chain will be piloted by VinFuture Foundation from 2024 at a number of key universities in the Hanoi area, such as: Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Science (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) and University of Public Health .
InnovaConnect's seminars on the hottest global topics attract thousands of scientists and bring the world's leading minds to the Vietnamese scientific community.
The program also opens up opportunities for Vietnamese and international scientists to move towards practical cooperation, such as building research cooperation projects between units, cooperation to improve research and teaching capacity, lecturer and student exchange programs, etc. In particular, a number of research cooperation projects of units have been funded by the VinFuture Foundation for initial implementation.
The InnovaConnect program is expected to help institutes, universities and research facilities in Vietnam expand connections with the international scientific community, to move towards practical and sustainable cooperation.
In 2025, with the goal of expanding the InnovaConnect program nationwide, VinFuture Foundation will accept applications from institutes, schools, and research agencies in Vietnam that want to promote international scientific cooperation.
To register to participate, interested units can visit the VinFuture Foundation website at https://vinfutureprize.org/vi/tin-tuc/2025-innovaconnect/, download the necessary registration forms and documents.
The registration period begins on January 2, 2025 and takes place four times a year, on January 2, April 2, July 2, and October 2.
Partner organizations have 60 days to complete the application and send the registration (soft copy) to the email address: secretariat@vinfutureprize.org.
VinFuture Foundation will then conduct an evaluation to select applications that meet the criteria of the InnovaConnect program and notify partners of the results within 60 days from the end of the registration period.
Based on the unit's connection needs, the direction of domestic science and technology development and world trends, as well as the principles and mission of the VinFuture Foundation, the fund will sponsor the cost of inviting international scientists to participate in activities within the framework agreed between the partner and the fund. The connection events will be implemented and completed within 6 months from the date of funding approval by the fund.

The nationwide InnovaConnect program is one of the highlight activities of VinFuture Foundation in 2025 on the occasion of its 5th anniversary.
The scientific networking activities implemented by VinFuture Foundation in recent years have not only helped domestic scientists improve their professional qualifications but also expanded the international cooperation network, creating conditions to promote the sustainable development of the scientific community. At the same time, the program has also made an important contribution to building a solid research foundation, inspiring passion and creativity in the generation of scientists.
