Bright fireworks to welcome the new year of the snake 2025

1,950 high-altitude fireworks and 90 low-altitude fireworks displays lit up the sky of Da Nang on New Year's Eve to welcome the Year of the Snake.


On the night of January 29 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), thousands of people and tourists witnessed a fireworks display welcoming the New Year of the Snake with 1,950 high-altitude fireworks and 90 low-altitude fireworks displays, lasting 15 minutes at the New Year's Eve moment at APEC Park (West bank of Dragon Bridge), Lien Chieu District Administrative Center and the resettlement area of the western beltway (Hoa Phong commune, Hoa Vang district).

According to information from the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, along with the fireworks display to welcome the New Year, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the city will organize many attractive activities and events to serve the people and tourists, especially maintaining the Bach Dang spring flower street lasting nearly 5 months starting from January 15 to May 1.

The total number of visitors to Da Nang during the Lunar New Year 2025 is estimated to reach more than 456,000, an increase of 13.5% compared to the 2024 holiday. Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach more than 221,000, an increase of 25% compared to the 2024 holiday, and domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 235,000. The overall capacity of accommodation establishments is estimated to reach about 50%, of which the 4-5 star and equivalent groups reach 60-65% (an increase of nearly 10% compared to the 2024 holiday).
