In a recent conversation with the French press, coach Tholot said he was ready to leave Pau FC.

After Quang Hai's departure, the French team continues its strange tradition.

Coach Tholot is about to leave Pau FC

“I need time to think, I am very tired at the moment. I have informed the club president that I can stop or go to another club.

To lead a team, I need a lot of energy. I have had 3 memorable years with Pau FC. But there must be a reason for me to say that.

Next season, the relegation battle will still be difficult. You need to have a careful plan, the situation is getting more and more difficult for Pau FC", said coach Tholot.

Early morning of June 5, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai's representative also announced that his client will leave Pau FC this summer.

Previously, player Olliero and goalkeeper Jerome Prior reached an agreement to terminate their contracts with the black and yellow team after not being able to play regularly.

Speaking about this, Sudouest said that this is not something strange in Pau and this summer there are still many names that have to leave.

It is not surprising that the southern French team said goodbye to many players after one season.

Because in previous seasons, Pau FC also tended to change a lot of players when the season ended.

The biggest reason is that the team's finances are not secure and it is difficult for them to retain their stars.

In the 2022 summer transfer window, Pau FC said goodbye to 15 players and recruited a similar number of players to renew the squad.

In the 2023 season, Quang Hai's team will need the final rounds to successfully stay in the league.
