This collaborative product marks a new step forward in the design and operation of AI plants by providing detailed information and enhanced control of electrical systems and energy demand, significantly improving operational efficiency, reliability and sustainability.
While previous technologies have provided a basic, visual representation of the electrical system, the integration of ETAP and Nvidia Omniverse technology provides a comprehensive digital twin for the AI factory with multiple elements that interact seamlessly. ETAP’s advanced modeling technology creates a digital twin of the data center’s electrical infrastructure and combines it with real-time electrical system data, advanced analytics, and insights. Intelligent algorithms analyze and predict electrical consumption and distribution patterns, providing useful, groundbreaking information.
The collaboration between ETAP and Nvidia brings a groundbreaking “Grid to Chip” approach to solving major challenges in power management, optimizing operational performance and energy efficiency in the AI era. Currently, data center operators can estimate average power consumption at the rack level, but ETAP’s new digital twin will increase the accuracy of dynamic load modeling at the chip level to improve power system design and optimize energy efficiency.
