The 2024 Dai Binh Cultural Tourism Festival takes place from August 23 to 25 in Dai Binh village, Trung Phuoc town (Nong Son) to continue promoting the typical images of the locality to tourists and travel businesses.

Some highlights include the display of artistic fruits, women's volleyball tournament, traditional boat racing, golden bell competition, mass art competition, bicycle parade, folk games, art programs, etc.

In addition, there will be continuous activities such as experiencing the space “Dai Binh Memories”, where artifacts and documents about the cultural life and people of Dai Binh village are displayed; Acoustic music at the riverside; singing Bai Choi, folk cuisine, stalls selling fruits and OCOP products. In particular, on this occasion, Dai Binh village will also launch the Tuong Hat Club (evening of August 24).

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Anh - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Nong Son district, developing tourism in Dai Binh village has been the locality's consistent goal for many years, contributing to promoting and introducing Dai Binh tourism and other potential destinations in the town in particular, Nong Son district in general, to attract investment enterprises, connect tours and routes in the region to develop local tourism potential. Thereby, creating conditions and livelihoods for the people.

“Held for the first time in 2019, the festival not only preserves and promotes local cultural values but also helps spread the image of Dai Binh and Nong Son tourism to visitors from near and far, initially bringing positive results. Preliminary statistics show that in the first 6 months of 2024, about 4,000 visitors visited the village,” said Mr. Anh.

During the festival, many places in the village will be open for visitors to check in, including: Ngu Nuong temple, Dai Binh pagoda, Nghia Trung Tu, the ancient house of Mrs. Phan Thi Suong (over 100 years old), Cam forest, Ben Do, Dai Binh village gate, especially many fruit gardens...

Dai Binh village dates back to the Thai Duc period (1778), located in the north of Trung Phuoc town. This place is famous for fruits such as longan, bonbon. In 2020, Dai Binh village was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a tourist destination.
