After 7 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee of "Honoring typical Son La agricultural products in 2024" has received 57 products from 40 units in 11 districts and cities, with 3 product groups: group of agricultural, forestry, fishery and beverage processing products with 46 products accounting for 80.7%; group of fresh fruit products with 10 products accounting for 17.5% and group of products serving agricultural production with 1 product accounting for 1.8%.
These are agricultural products produced and processed by members and farmers in Son La province; agricultural products of enterprises, cooperatives, agricultural cooperatives, farms, craft villages... with legal registration.
The voting council has evaluated and scored the products according to the approved scoring scales and criteria with the principles of democracy, transparency and objectivity. The maximum total score for a product is 100 points. The selected products must have a total score of 70 points or more. As a result, 25 products achieved 70 points or more and 32 products below 70 points.
Based on the results of the appraisal and voting of the Voting Council, the Organizing Committee of the program to honor typical Son La agricultural products signed Decision No. 03/QD/BTC dated October 15, 2024 on recognizing typical Son La agricultural products in 2024 for 25 products.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Anh, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Son La province, said that the program to honor typical Son La agricultural products in 2024 has received the active participation of departments, branches and sectors; the response and interest of organizations and individuals in the province. The Organizing Committee has promptly issued voting rules; propagated the purpose and significance of the Program to enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups and individuals producing agricultural products.
The quality of registered products is diverse in design, type and good quality, with full conditions for development and replication such as: Production and business registration certificate, certification certificates: Food safety, VietGAP, GlobalGAP, organic, OCOP, ... There are codes, barcodes, traceability stamps, products have beautiful designs, environmentally friendly production ...

"Organizing the Program contributes to encouraging, motivating and stimulating creativity in production labor, applying scientific and technical advances, strictly following State regulations, creating good quality, safe and environmentally friendly products, protecting consumers and workers," emphasized the Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Son La province.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of 25 typical agricultural products of Son La province in 2024 to Cooperatives, companies and business households whose products were voted.
